RETURNS / COMPLAINTS
Due to the nature of some of our fresh products and the unknown of your equipment, set up, knowledge or clean procedures once the outer plastic sleeve packets have been opened - We will unfortunately not accept returns or issue refunds for that item as in effect they are considered used and no longer biologically viable.
Please remember - All my cultures are tried and tested in a professional lab set up, prior to being marketed and purchased by you, so when they are sealed in the lab, I can almost guarantee they are contaminant free. However on opening the sealed bag and using this product any source of contamination can occur. Spores and contamination are all around us in the air.
If you experience some form of contamination or problem through your mushroom grow, please review your own procedures closely first, and research the problem and your growing process online yourself prior to contacting me.
Please understand that whilst I am more than happy to help where I can, I am not however here as an online consultant, a guide book for your grow, or here to instruct you step by step on methods, procedures, spawning conditions, fruiting conditions, poor yield problems, a glossary of contamination issues, fault finding, knowledge base etc etc.
All the items I sell are highly specialised fresh products, and I can only but assume on purchasing them you have adequate knowledge and understanding on how to successfully use them and ultimately the risks we all face in doing so. I hope you can see that for the keen price I sell these at, it is just not time or financially viable for me to offer limitless in depth support to you.
Books, Google & online forums are excellent resources, and there is vast amounts of info out there to read up and improve your mycology processes and procedures. If your not successful at first don't be disheartened and quit, learn from your mistakes, improve, overcome and move forward. Its all part of this great very rewarding yet challenging hobby.
If any other item that is sold in my shop, is defective or broken on arrival please email me at: support@super-spore.co.uk providing a picture of the problem or fault, where I will try to resolve your issue for you as soon as possible.
POSTAGE / MISSING PARCELS / WEEKENDS
If you are purchasing 2 or less liquid cultures or items less than £20, they will arrive to you via Royal Mail 1st class Large letter stamp.
This is not a tracked service. However I use this service in an attempt to keep postage costs down for your benefit.
I place a clear and concise return to sender address label on the back of the packet and Royal Mail official procedure is to return to sender if the package is not deliverable to your address for any reason.
If you have not received your parcel after a timely manner please contact me to check if the parcel has arrived back with me. If it has I will check and confirm your postal address with you and if all ok, send out replacements in a new package free of charge.
If I haven't received anything back here then I will ask you to wait for this Royal Mail process to complete. If I do not receive the parcel back within 2 weeks then this situation will be assessed on a individual basis.
If purchasing 3 or more cultures at the same time, or your total order is over £20 in value then due to cost & risk increase to us both, your item will be sent 1st class recorded (Signed for), for a one off postage and packaging charge of £2.50
Due to the nature and spoilage potential of this product I will not ship on a Saturday or Sunday to save the parcels sitting in a potentially adverse environment over the weekend (Hot post van or sorting office etc) this is just to try to minimise risk and to keep your culture as fresh as possible.
That said though please don't panic if your parcel has been caught in the weekend post... The mycelium inside the insulated envelope, would have to be subject to 30 deg C or above for a prolonged period to harm the mycelium, so the likelihood of this air temperature in the UK is very slim indeed.
